- I started my career as a mechanical drafter while attending college at UC Berkely designing precision measuring microscopes and accessories for the semiconductor industry. I had a goal change and moved to North Dakota where I found work as a rodman on a survey crew and shortly moved into the office to do drafting. I migrated into mechanical drafting again for a farm equipment manufacturer and again back to drafting for a surveyor, then to a city government office doing GIS and civil design, then on to a private civil engineering consultant in Arizona where I am now. Overall I have about 30 yrs experience in mechanical, civil, surveying and GIS.
